I for one think that the review is spot on, and had pretty much the same experience, don't like the aftertaste. I tried mixing with it too, and stand by what I said, there are better and much cheaper vodkas if you are going to mix, IMO.

Initial impression when I first opened the bottle is that it smells like rubbing alchohol. Fortunately, drinking it was a much more pleasant surprise. Very neutral and flavorless, it reminded me of Tito's at least the in-mouth feel. It goes down much better than Tito's, with a very mild burn and a much better aftertaste unlike Tito's, which I found harsh and caustic going down the throat and then the feeling and taste in your whole mouth afterwards. This vodka tastes like what Tito's should have been, IMO, especially after reading all the raving good reviews for Tito's. Unfortunately, 360 is very hard to find in my area, and the local liquor store where I found it sells it for more than the listed average price on this website, about $28.

Ugh, bummer. I really enjoyed my first bottle of Chopin earlier this year, but this second one I got is rather off in taste, like it somehow got contaminated or something. Maybe that's why they were selling it so cheap at that particular store.

It's worth mentioning here that if you're not keeping the bottle, empty Crystal Head bottles can sell for between $20-$30 on eBay, which offsets the high price tag and essentially gives you around a 50% rebate off the $50 price.

Wow. Best. Vodka. Ever. Not only is the bottle wicked, it's the finest vodka I've ever had. Clean, smooth, flavorless, no burn, just a light, cool, refreshing feeling after it goes down. Great for sipping straight. Cost is rather prohibitive though, most of us won't be willing to shell out $50 to always keep this one stocked.

I picked up a bottle of Costco's Kirland Signature vodka as described in one of my posts above. I'd say it's BETTER than Grey Goose! Very clean and flavorless, very very mild burn, and less of an aftertaste than Grey Goose. I didn't see any other bottle sizes as it was right there in the front and I grabbed one, but $26.99 for a 1.75 bottle? Do the math, that's quite inexpensive. I might have found a new favorite! Too bad it's still French...

So Diddy makes a public statement "if your not drinking Ciroc Vodka, then your drinking pee, pee." Pissed off a rival vodka big wig and probably others too. I'm sorry, but WTF does Diddy know about vodka anyway? His Ciroc sounds like overpriced swill to me.

I tried it recently at a bar, a straight big shot, enough to evaluate. It's definitely better than Grey Goose, clean and smooth, but with a slightly unpleasant bitter aftertaste that I didn't really like. Good, but still not worth the price IMO, because there are much cheaper vodkas that are just as good or better.

@Dr. Frank: Wow, going back to a much inferior vodka just because of the container and spout? Ever heard of a pourer?
@Chris: Bad batch may be a possibility, or the fact that people just have different palates. My experience was that it is one of the best vodkas I've ever tried at any price, at room temperature, which is how I also evaluate all new vodkas initially.

Maybe my palate is just very sensitive right now, because even Sobieski leaves a bit of a bitter aftertaste for me. That said, Tito's is definitely better than Grey Goose, of which I bought a 375ml for comparison with the other vodkas I have in stock. For the money though, I would personally stick with Sobieski for now, saves me about $8.
