I bought one of those novelty 3 packs of it recently (same size and shape as a 750ml but actually 3 bottles stacked, one regular and 2 flavors) but haven't tried it yet. I tend to collect the cooler looking bottles which is what suckered me in, at least now I know it won't be too bad to drink.

Oops, forgot these comments weren't nested, that was a reply to chuckers.

Very late reply but I would not worry about Patron being like Grey Goose. I'm also a fan of tequila and Patron is expensive but it is very good, I prefer the silver myself. 1800 is also a good bet and a decent bargain for the quality, definitely more affordable than patron is. Generally I'll keep 1800 silver on the shelf and might pick up some Patron or another top shelf tequila for a special occasion. Mid-shelf my dad swears by Sauza Hornitos, even the regular low shelf Sauza is drinkable if you're on a tight budget. Just whatever you do stay away from El Toro unless you want the hangover of a lifetime!

Svedka was our de-facto vodka early on in college. I've always found it to have a slight salty taste, while it's not my favorite I won't complain about it either, it served me well during the early college years. ;)

I was introduced to Sobieski when the guy who ran the local liquor store near my college recommended it after I had complained most of the vodkas I enjoyed put too much of a drain on my wallet (ah, I miss college already). Upon trying it later that day after freezing it for a bit I was immediately impressed. At the price point ($20 a handle in Troy, NY) it obliterated the other vodkas I had been trying. While my standard vodka has now become Tito's and/or 360 with some Russian Standard for shooting I still enjoy Sobieski from time to time. It's a great vodka, and in my opinion almost impossible to beat at that price.

Hmm, I think I saw this at the local liquor store when I was picking up a bottle of 360 I'd convinced them to get in stock. I'll have to go check it out.

As a side note about the rebate, after asking my local liquor store to get some 360 they stocked four fifths of it on the shelf, all of them have the tag for the rebate right on the bottle but it seems there is a limit of two rebates per household.

Having finally got my hands on a bottle I have to say 360 is going in with Tito's for my favorite vodkas category. That subtle sweetness makes for an absolutely excellent white russian.

I'm actually drinking Russian Standard right now mixed with a little Simply Lemonade. Makes for a very nice drink. Russian Standard is definitely among the list of vodkas I enjoy.

I personally think Belvedere is better than Goose, matter of face most of the times I've tried it I've found it pretty good. Admittedly most of the times I've tried it I've not exactly been sober to start with...
