   Ya I think smirnoff is pretty bad, I havnt drank it much though, I just had one shot at a friends house and it was by far the worst shot of vodka I ever had, that isnt enough to tell but enough for me to never buy a bottle and give it a chance. My friends dont like svedka at all, I can drink it, only reason i bought it was because of reviews on it from this site and I was disappointed, it was just talked up so much it was a let down for me. I still got half a large bottle yet, I will have to try it some more.

   I got half of a 1.75 down, not crazy about, not even as a mixer, titos way better, and pinnacle as a mixer I like better. My 2 friends that have tried it think it is awful, my one friend wanted to gag when he did a shot of it and everytime i use it as a mixer he knows I used svedka. My friends all love the vladimir as their favorite vodka as well, we might just have no vodka taste, i dunno. But after the vlad and nikolia we all like the titos the best over svedka, pinnacle and now fris so thats gotta count for something right!

   I got bout and entire bottle down of this, only bout 2 shots left. Its not very good as a shot, but a decent mixer. I still got 2 bottles of it to open so after i decide to put them down I should know this vodka pretty good.

   Wow, I was at the state store today and was thinking about buying this! What stoped me was i remember your review on the one that you dumped down the drain and i was thinking this one was it. But Ya, they had a big display up front and a 1.75 was 11 bucks or something and they label made it sound good, filtered and distilled through charcoal haha, the label was selling it pretty good, then i thought, something is up, cant be that great in a ugly plastic jug haha. I still recommend the vladimir for bottom shelf. Me and my friend tore up two 1.75's in a month doing shots and mixing. Neither of us had a hangover once from it, it is like flavorless. I think it is like a like a PA WV vodka, I dont know what other states it is in. It is always like top selling vodka in WV and one of the top ones in PA. I think only cause of the price although others are a buck cheaper maybe and the label has like a big bearded russian king from like 17th century on it so it is catchy. I can drink anything but it was easy to put down, might be the best I have had. I might just be crazy though, or maybe I like the pureness of this cheap vodka i dunno. I never tried like bankers club or jacquins, or skol or anything else that cheap. Just nikolia which i find to be pretty close to being as good as vladimir, burns a lil more but still very good. I dont know if I lucked out and happened to buy 2 good cheap vodkas or if i just like cheap vodka haha. In my freezer now I got titos, fris, pinnacle, svedka and I find out of those the titos is by far the best so i dunno. I only have done shot of the fris and it was pretty awful as a shot. Pinnacle bad as a shot, but it works as a mixer. The svedka I am disappointed it, seems like it over powers everything i put it in. I got a bottle of sobiski I gotta put in the freezer, I am gonna do it tomorrow cause i gotta try it, I just got so much vodka in there now, I got flavored vodkas in there as well ( i am never gonna be able to get rid of the three olives chocolate vodka! ) Anyways do you ever drink any tequila? I am trying to find a good brand of it. Everyone says patron but I fear it may be like grey goose is to vodka!

   I commend you, it is hard for me to dump and bad cocktail down the drain, I dont think I could ever dump a whole bottle down the drain. Next time you get some horrible vodka just pour it into a top shelf emply bottle and watch the people rave about it when you serve it up. But if it is as bad as you say it is, you might feel to guilty serving it so i dunno.

   I did 3 shots of pinacle 2 nights in a row, i get 3 servings of alcohol in me at least every day for the health benifits. Anyways it was pretty bad. Made me appreciate the titos and svedka even more. Like the bottom shelf vladamir and nikolia smoke the pinnacle and like for real they are cheap, they have cheap sticker labels the peel off soon as you get them home and they say nothing about being distilled or filtered! So I bet the are distilled one time and I doubt if they are filtered but they are pure tasting like flavorless which totally beats pinnacles bad taste. I must of found some gems on the bottom shelf, like when i first time in my life had the svedka and titos I wasnt all that impressed because they werent too much better than cheap stuff I was drinking. Now I can say there is wide difference in vodka cause it was a chore to put 3 shots of pinnacle down in a row. Yeah for me, I got a almost full botthe of pinnacle on ice and another in the cabinet still waiting to be opened! Maybe it will grow on me but doesnt look promising. If it is like grey goose I will be avoiding grey goose, at 30 some dollers a bottle grey goose better melt in ur mouth.

   Ya I try to do it pretty objective, I never chase a shot with anything no matter how bad it is, then I wait a while for the next one. A lot depends on personal taste, but it would be nice to get your taste buds where you could tell that a vodka hasnt been filtered good. And be able to tell what they ran it through to filter it.

   I bought a bottle the other day! Haha, but for good reason, it was on sale for 9.99 and had a rebate form to send it for 10 bucks so it free. Only drank it during a taste test so no opinion really on it yet. Ya the guys in the liquor store prob dont know too much. I dont know if I will ever pony up the 31 bucks for the grey goose, my bar doesnt carry it, so maybe I will run into it at a friends house or party or try it in a club sometime. I can drink bottom shelf stuff and I am pretty cheap haha. And if I would love it then I would end up spending 3x more on vodka so I am still working on finding the best brand for under 20 bucks. That vladimir is 10 bucks for 1.75 and I was impressed. Its been year since I had it but at the time tasted good. But it might just be in my area or who knows. But after i get done trying some more things that your site rates highly I will have to pick up a bottle and see if it still compares.

    Ya me and my friend over the weekend poured each other shots and then we would write down a rating and guess what vodka it was and didnt have much sucess, I served him the same vodka twice and one time he gave it a 6 then the next a 3. I rated the brand nikolia the best and it was the cheapest in the test and comes in plastic bottle. Ya in the pennsylvania state stores there are lots of brands i never seen anyone talk about online, like vladimir it is like 10 bucks for a 1.75 bottle and alchol is expensive in pennsylvania compared to other states. I usually buy whatever vodka I heard good things about that is like on sale for like 3 or 4 bucks off and i try it. The other night we drank the nikolia, pinnacle, svedka, titos and 3 olives. I went a lil crazy at the store, all this taste test stuff caught my interest, I bartend part time for extra income and I think I might have more alcohol at my house then the bar. I just started drinking most these brands so will have to get some more reps in then see if I can detect which is which.All seem to be pretty good, seems like the titos though at first opinion burns more then all the others? I put that down on the taste test and was like has to be the cheap nikolia and turned out being the titos, it tasted good just burned more than the others, then drinking it later same thing. Most the vodkas are pretty close in price so I am just gonna see if I find one that really seperates itself from the others. The smirnoff though I was stunned, I drank it before but never as a shot, I usually drink cocktails with so many parts to them dont really matter what you use just too much going one. I know everyones taste is different, but that was my first shot of it and it was by far the worst vodka I ever drank, people drink it up though. My next purchase once I drink a few bottles of these others will be the sobiski, everyone seems to love it. The vodka industry should send vodkabuzz a check though for boosting their sales haha
