Review
I got married on October 31st, 2008. Jeremy, my friend of many years brought me several bottles of local vodka for a wedding present. Portland 88 is one.
The Shot
Portland 88 has a very slight burn (probably due to 4% more alcohol than usual), but is smooth on the way down. The flavor is neutral with a slightly bitter aftertaste, not requiring a chaser.
The Mixed Drink
I mixed Portland 88 with orange juice and Red Bull. It's a slightly bitter mix, but not in a bad way. It has a pleasant bite and interesting flavor overall.
Opinions
Portland 88 is a decent mixer and a good shooter. If you want a good taste of Portland, Portland 88 is a good place to start.
