I finally enjoyed a Square One organic vodka martini up with olives tonight at a trendy suburban restaurant. The aroma was sweet and delicate, and the first sip was extremely smooth on the tongue. Whatever mild flavor it had was sweet, and the swallow was almost like water. There was virtually no alcohol burn whatsoever! The vodka left no alcohol trace after the swallow, and there was a very mild enjoyable sweet aftertaste. Compared to the only other organic vodka that I’ve had, 360, it was superior in every way. In fact, it was superior in every way to almost every other vodka that I’ve tried. I’m extremely impressed!

If you find this vodka on a liquor store shelf or at a bar, do yourself a favor and try it. It’s that good!

Hmmmm. Not terrible, but not great. I was expecting a really clean taste, but I have to disagree with the other reviews: strong, almost isopropyl flavor and burn. Not worth huge coin.

I finally saw a bottle of Square One on a liquor store shelf today. If I recall correctly, this one was selling for $31.99 per fifth, which places is squarely in the premium shelf price range. I was tempted to buy it, but I already have a few other vodkas in the house that I should finish before I move on to another. Eventually, I plan to try this one, assuming that I can find it again.
