The Weirdest Vodka Flavors

There has been a TON of chatter recently about strange vodka flavors. With Pinnacle’s crazy flavors, it’s a wonder that any flavor of vodka is an oddity nowadays, but, despite not being surprised anymore, here’s a list of the vodka flavors I think are craziest.

  • Alaska Distillery‘s Smoked Salmon Vodka: I can’t even imagine drinking this in a bloody mary.

  • Alaska Distillery‘s Purgatory Hemp Vodka: Another from Alaska Distillery, I just can’t fathom what this vodka would taste like.

  • Pinnacle Cookie Dough Vodka: It tastes really good, but I don’t know what to mix it with!

  • Bakon Vodka: It sounds weird on the surface, but you know as well as I do that this would be great in a bloody mary.

  • Van Gogh PB&J Vodka: I’m really looking forward to trying peanut butter and jelly vodka, but I have no idea what to mix it with.

  • Three Olives Dude: It’s sort of like a pre-mixed dew driver.

  • Three Olives Bubble Gum: It tastes exactly like bubble pink gum, but then what?

  • Cupcake Vodka’s Frosting Flavor

  • Skorppio: Who doesn’t want a scorpion in their vodka?

  • Bison Grass Vodka: This one is not nearly as random as you’d think. There are other bison grass vodkas. If my sources are correct, real bison grass vodkas can’t be sold in the US because one of the ingredients is considered poison.

Is gin just flavored vodka now too?

Some people call it such. I don’t know if I would simply for historic purposes. That, and some gin martini drinkers would punch me in the face if I told them they are really drinking a flavored vodka martini. Strictly speaking, though, it sounds like a juniper infused vodka to me.
