Pinnacle Vodka is the king of wacky flavors. I was at the local liquor store trying to decide what to get, and settled on Pinnacle Cookie Dough Vodka. I’m a huge fan of cookie dough. I like it straight out of the tube better than I do cooked. So, this vodka seemed like the best choice.

The Shot

If you had any doubts that Pinnacle Cookie Dough Vodka wouldn’t deliver on it’s name, let me quell your fears. This is as close to cookie dough flavor that I can imagine a vodka having. There is a slight ethanol flavor, but it’s impossibly close to cookie dough. I could easily drink this vodka straight without want of anything extra.

The Mixed Drink

The biggest question on my mind: What do you mix with Pinnacle Cookie Dough Vodka? Luckily, Pinnacle has a sheet with recipes. The one that sounded best to me was to simply add milk. I mixed it around 1 part vodka to 2 parts milk. The cocktail tasted fine. It wasn’t the heavy-cookie flavor I wanted, but it’s pretty good for a milk-based cocktail. I think this would probably be the perfect Christmas cocktail.

Final Opinions

Pinnacle Cookie Dough Vodka is an awesome flavored vodka. The problem is figuring out what to do with it. Yes, you could just sip on it, but these Pinnacle flavored vodkas are meant to be mixed. This one just isn’t an easy one to figure out.
