Mile High Vodka Official Review

I was at Applejack in Denver, Colorado. Two employees recommended Mile High Vodka. One walked up without any prior communication to suggest it. That’s pretty hard to ignore.

The Shot

Mile High Vodka is mostly flavorless at the beginning. It yields to an oddly sweet-and-bitter taste as it sits in my mouth. The flavors don’t really present until the vodka is on the way down, but they seem to clear off my palate pretty quickly. I don’t really need a chaser, but it’s nice to have.

The Mixed Drink

I mixed Mile High Vodka with Crystal Light. The mix was very neutral. It’s easily slippable and works even better than the straight vodka.

Final Thoughts

Mile High Vodka isn’t bad. It’s not as good as I was expecting. The folks at Applejack called it “local” when they suggested it. The bottle says Mira Loma, CA. I’m not sure how that works, but, if it is a Colorado vodka, it may be worth a try if you’re in the area. Frankly, though, it’s not terribly exciting to me.
